The Days of Summer Wine and Sewer Stew

It is blistering August here in Upstate NY and while I am anxious to peel off the permanent layer of sweat that seems to linger between layers of clothing, I will miss sloppy kisses from babies clad exclusively in diapers, hands sticky from watermelon. I will also miss that almost-sensation of coolness I feel on a hot summer night when I first log onto WoW and find myself standing in the chilly mountains of Northrend. Nights when my wine gets warm before I get a chance to take my first sip, nights when I am clad from head to toe in platemail, clutching the mane of my steed, snow chapping my face...in August.

The realms are down and honestly? A window fan doesn't hold a candle to prancing around in the snow in the Borean Tundra. Seriously.
